SEP 22 AND SEP 23: ATLANTA / MELBOURNE  Depart Atlanta for your flight to Melbourne, Australia.

SEP 24: MELBOURNE Upon arrival in Melbourne, and after completing immigration formalities and clearing customs, you will be met by a Southern World Australia representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. (D)

SEP 25:  MELBOURNE This morning meet your driver and private charter vehicle for a full day city sights tour of Melbourne. Discover Melbourne’s past and present. Your morning drive will take you through the central business district with its eclectic architecture, then past the Victorian Arts Centre and its imposing pyramid-style Shrine of Remembrance which dominates St.Kilda Road. Continue through the fashionable Toorak Village and to the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens with avenues of huge English elms planted along gently contoured lawns, giving them a serene beauty all year round, and inspect Cook’s Cottage. Departing Fitzroy Gardens, it’s a short drive to what is known as the cities “meeting place” – Federation Square. Ever since this landmark cultural and entertainment destination was opened to the public, Melbournians and visitors have been gathering here. Locals have embraced Fed Square as a true reflection of their city, with rich cultural experiences, a diversity of places to eat and drink, unique shopping and a wealth of information to welcome visitors. Fed Square is where cultures meet, friends meet, minds meet and worlds meet. Your time here is at leisure. Re-join your private coach and be transferred to the Royal Botanic Gardens. Here, join your specialist guide for a journey into the ancestral lands of the Kulin nation as you explore their rich and thriving culture on this award-winning walk. Experience a traditional smoking ceremony with our Indigenous Guides and discover traditional uses of plants for food, tools and medicine. Your last stop of the day is bustling St Kilda. This iconic bayside suburb is home to Melbourne’s most attractive eating and drinking places – Fitzroy and Acland Streets. Lined with cafes, eclectic mix of restaurants with tables spilling onto the footpath, wine bars, continental cake shops and independent music, book and second-hand stores. St Kilda is also home to many Victorian terraces, historic mansions, art deco buildings, famous Luna Park, the Palais Theatre, the National Theatre, arthouse cinema The Astor Theatre and St Kilda Beach with its seaside promenade. SEP 26: MELBOURNE This morning, meet your driver and private charter vehicle at the hotel lobby where you will depart on this full day tour. Imagine seeing a mob of kangaroos bounding right past you and seeing wild koalas in the forest of a national park! this tour is an informative and dramatic introduction to the unique wildlife of Australia. in the company of an expert nature guide you will see mobs of free ranging Eastern-Grey kangaroos in a natural bush setting. you will also see and learn about many other Australian Animals and birds at Serendip open-range sanctuary on the cast western plains near Melbourne. During a delicious bush lunch you will meet and talk to aboriginal people and learn about their culture. you’ll also hear to evocative music of the didgeridoo. After lunch, head to a nearby national park to see koalas in the wild. your nature guide will share the knowledge of these wonderful pouched animals with you. our Koala Research Project ensures we regularly have multiple sightings of these shy creatures in the wild. SEP 27: MELBOURNE Day at leisure (or anything that is not seen on the above days). Dinner and overnight.

SEP 28: MELBOURNE / SYDNEY  Upon arrival in Sydney, and after completing immigration formalities and clearing customs, you will be met by a Southern World Australia representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. (D)

SEP 29:  SYDNEY This morning, we will have a morning city of Sydney.  The first settlement of Australia, positioned on one of the most beautiful harbours in the world, Sydney is the capital of New South Wales. As Australia’s largest city it boasts an incredible mixed culture which only adds to its charm. In addition to the harbor, Sydney is bordered by spectacular beaches to the East and the Blue Mountains to the West and boasts the architectural wonder of the Sydney Opera House. Balance of the day leisure. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B/D)

SEP 30: SYDNEY Your morning is at leisure. This afternoon, meet your driver and private coach at the hotel lobby and be transferred to Circular Quay. From here, board your CRUISE vessel for an afternoon ‘Tribal Warrior Harbor Cruise’ on magnificent Sydney Harbor. Embark on a journey to discover the stories of the Eora, Gadigal, Guringai, Wangal, Gammeraigal and Wallumedegal people. Come ashore on an island in Sydney Harbour for an authentic Aboriginal cultural performance. Learn the Aboriginal names and meanings of significant Sydney landmarks and uncover traditional fishing methods and food gathering techniques. Enjoy an informative and entertaining commentary about significant Sydney landmarks and their Aboriginal names and history and visit Clark Island for a cultural performance. Complimentary tea and coffee is served during your 2 hours cruise. Your cruise concludes at Circular Quay. Transfer to your accommodation. The evening is at leisure. (B/D)

OCT 01 SYDNEY / BALI Transfer by private coach to Sydney Airport where you will connect with your departing flight to Bali. (B) Upon arrival in Bali, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

OCT 02: Bali Full-Day Traditional Village Sightseeing Trip with Lunch  Visit the artisan villages around Ubud on a full-day tour of Balinese culture. Check out the local handicrafts, including batik in Batubulan, gold and silver jewelry in Celuk, and wood sculptures in Mas. Visit Batuan Temple and Sebatu Holy Spring Temple, then enjoy a buffet lunch overlooking Kintamani Volcano (Mt Batur). In the afternoon, you’re guided to a luwak coffee plantation, rice field, the Ubud Village, Ubud Art Market and Tegunungan Waterfall.

OCT 04: DAY AT LEISURE. Transfer to the airport in time for your return flight home.
