Tour Conditions

MONDAY, JULY 6:   Depart San Antonio via Delta airlines

TUESDAY, JULY 7:  ARRIVAL IN PORTUGAL Upon arrival in Lisbon, you will be welcomed by our local guide and travel to Fatima, where three shepherd children experienced apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1917. We will learn the significance of her message, then have Mass at a nearby chapel.  Enjoy dinner at our hotel near the Shrine followed by the evening Rosary Procession.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 8: FATIMA Tour the Shrine, including the Basilica with the tombs of the shepherd children: St. Francisco Marto, St. Jacinta Marto, and Servant of God Lucia dos Santos. Pray in the Chapel of the Apparitions, located in the exact spot where the children received the apparitions. Dinner at the hotel. Participate in the Rosary Procession with our Lady of Fatima’s Statue.

THURSDAY, JULY 9: FATIMA  Explore the area where the original homes of the shepherd children are located, and the village church where they were baptized. See and pray at the spot where the Angel of Peace appeared to the children along the Way of the Cross and hear how he prepared them for Our Lady’s apparitions. Dinner at the hotel. Participate in the Rosary Procession with our Lady of Fatima’s Statue.

FRIDAY, JULY 10:   FATIMA – PARIS Depart Fatima to Lisbon Airport to fly to Paris. Board our private motor coach to visit Notre Dame, the Cathedral of Paris.  Check-in to our hotel and enjoy dinner. 

SATURDAY, JULY 11:  PARIS Experience the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, where Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament has continued devotion to Christ for over 150 years. The location, ‘Mount of Martyrs,’ has been a pilgrimage destination for centuries, including for Saints Joan of Arc, Vincent de Paul, and was the site of the bishop St. Denis’ early martyrdom in 250 AD. We will celebrate Mass here.  Lunch at a nearby restaurant will be included.  The afternoon will be at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal where Mary gave St. Catherine Labouré the Miraculous Medal. and visit the nearby St. Vincent de Paul Church to venerate the relics of St. Vincent de Paul. Dinner at the hotel.

SUNDAY, JULY 12:  LISIEUX We will spend the entire day in Lisieux, home of Saint Thérèse who is called the “Little Flower.” Pope Pius X described her as “the greatest saint of modern times.” Our visit to her hometown will begin at the Martin family home, Les Buissonnets. We will then proceed to the town Basilica, Carmelite Convent Chapel where she prayed, the reliquary of St. Thérèse, and we will see the statue of the Virgin Mary that Therese said smiled upon her at a turning point in her life. This evening, we will return to Paris hotel and enjoy dinner.

MONDAY, JULY 13:   PARIS - LOURDES This morning we will depart Paris for our flight to Pau, France.  Lourdes is within an hour’s drive from the airport. Lourdes is one of the greatest pilgrimage sites in the world. Here, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Bernadette Soubirous eighteen times in 1858.  We will visit the Pilgrim Center to view a video about Bernadette and the Marian apparitions.  Followed by  Mass at a Chapel near the site of the Apparition. Time to explore the Grotto, where our Lady appeared to Bernadette. Dinner at our hotel. Enjoy the Rosary & Candlelight Procession this evening.

TUESDAY, JULY 14: : LOURDES This morning, we will celebrate Mass at the site of the Apparition of Our Lady.  We walk the stunning, life-size, bronze Stations of the Cross. In the afternoon, you can choose to visit the Healing Waters situated next to the Grotto of Apparition, where the Virgin Mary was seen and where many healings have taken place. Dinner at our hotel. Enjoy the Rosary & Candlelight Procession this evening.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 15: LOURDES Beginning the day with Mass, followed by a walking tour of Lourdes will take us to visit the places associated with St. Bernadette’s life. These places will include the Boly Mill, where she was born; her parents’ residence, the Locale Mill; the Cachot formerly used as a jail where she lived at the time of the Apparitions; the chapel where she received her first Holy Communion, and the parish church containing the baptismal font where she was baptized. Time on your own in Lourdes.  Dinner at the hotel.

THURSDAY, JULY 16 - RETURN HOME A short drive to Pau airport for your flight to Paris and transfer to your international flight.  Your journey with Mary continues as you return home renewed in spirit!
